There is always today!

In my defense it was a busy day.   We were up and out skiing and boarding in the morning, followed by lunch, errands, laundry, cleaning, dinner, eBay, “Walking Dead.”  And at 10pm I was the walking dead.  As soon as the credits rolled, I turned to the already sleeping Emery, “Come on Emery!  Bedtime!”  We walked upstairs and I was asleep before I hit the pillow.
I really don’t know how it happened.  I was planning on it all day.  I even wrote a note in black sharpie and left it on the counter.  But in the end I blew it.  The first day of the challenge and I had no excuse not to do it, well not a good one anyway.  I woke up at 1:30 this morning, sat straight up in bed, and thought I forgot to “Slice” today. Questions race through my head, Should I do it now?, How could I have forgotten?, Who’s snoring so loud?  Well, I only had an answer to one of these questions.  Emery!

Hey!  There is always today!

  1. Lucky for you that you'll still be considered a full participant as long as you start posting and linking by 3/4. See, we've got your back!

  2. Isn't it amazing what we wake up to in the wee hours of the morning and those thoughts hit us smack in the head. How could I forget? Glad you remembered today and, look, it gave you something to slice about.

  3. Think of all the writing fuel your busy day provided to you! We have to make sure to give ourselves time to "live" so that we have something to write! I do hate those middle of the night jolts when you realize that you forgot something important. Glad you made it!
