Pale Blue Windows

Pale blue windows
hold back
Pride,
Anger,
Frustration.

Pale blue windows
reveal pain
locked inside
trying to escape.

Pale blue windows
block but also
betray;
hollow and flat,
telling me truth.
The sadness is there
it rises and seeps out.
It hurts.

  1. Hmmm, eyes perhaps? That is how I pictured this poem. You may already know about Poetry Friday, but if not you should check it out. Here is a link to Mary Lee's blog that has the schedule. It's a poetry potluck, sample the other poems and bring your own dish to pass. http://readingyear.blogspot.com/
